PYCSEL project appearance

CEA newsletter about PYCSEL project was published in April 2018. This newsletter focused in the necessities that should be fixed in fingerprint sensors and how the sensor to be developed in this project will provide benefits that overcome these bottlenecks, such as the freedom of form factor during integrations and the ergonomic and large area features.

In June 2018 IME magazine the PYCSEL project is referred as a solution for a new FBI fingerprint sensor. In the article “Here is that good old roll of film again” the advances of IMEC and the Holst Center in an optical palm sensor are described, and also the work these two partners are developing in this project, in contrast with the optical sensor.
